High Quality Managers Programme

"Following the successful completion of the pilot stage of the High Quality Manager (HQM) programme we are now moving into a new phase.

From August 2009, the HQM programme is to be managed by a different programme director in LSIS, a team responsible for LSIS’s Improvement Adviser Service (IAS).

This innovative Peer Mentoring programme benefits organisations delivering LSC funded provision across the FE system, including work-based learning, adult and community learning, offender learning, specialist and general FE colleges.

Through this programme, where the skills and expertise of high performing managers are matched with the development needs of others, LSIS aims to explore ways of harnessing existing capacity within the system to:

Working with a High Quality Manager Mentor

Assignments will be individually tailored to the requirements outlined by the recipient manager or organisation. Managers seeking support from the programme will be helped by the programme manager to create a mentoring assignment that will meet the needs identified.

Our matching process will ensure that the High Quality Manager Mentor assigned to you will have the relevant skills, experience and expertise in facilitating that area of development.
